In behalf of tvlesson.com I’m Dr. Justin Newman doctor of organs and medicine with the banyanholistic.com. Let’s talk a little bit appropriation the rule of getting foods of the more substantial nature into your system and the role it plays in holistic nutrition when it comes time to have lunch and dinner we open our face with taking in more substantial meals. It’s important to understand that inside the stomach there is a ph balance that must be maintain. That there are different enzymes that your body produces to breakdown the different kinds of food that you take in on a daily basis, understand that the enzymes that breakdown proteins need an acid environment to work. However the enzymes for starches and for carbs working in more alkaline environment which is exact of the opposite so when we are appropriating foods and taking the man combining your foods carefully so that the enzymes can do there job properly if I have steak and potatoes the body will prioritize the steak but perhaps to four hours the enzymes for the starches can’t do there job. What happen is the body will start to ferment and those starches just set in the acid of the stomach producing while the fermatation occurs, alcohol, gas and other toxins that will clag your system. Once in a while in moderation this kinds of things are okay but they do take there tow over time. You want to maintain this understanding of food combinations that you can maximize the role of the enzymes play in breaking down your foods. Proteins are great with vegetables, starches are great with vegetables but protein and starches together are very, very poor combination. You want to maximize the rule of the enzymes place so that the nutrition you do take in can be broken down properly, you get the most energy and nourishment out of the foods you eat and can then sustain of life time of health and well being in terms of your nutrition. Health is very, very important and as they say you are what you eat and that’s certainly is true in the case of appropriating the right food combinations.
