Here, we are working on quickness using ladders. Now, there are many ways to make a ladder. You can use hula-hoops, an actual ladder, masking tape, or even chalk on the pavement. A couple of things, when you are moving through the ladder, this is called “run one”. What you want to focus on is cycling the arms, keeping the arms and shoulders relaxed. Focus on foot speed, not linear running speed, and you want to try and be light on your feet. This is single feet through the ladders, cycle the arms, and then you take it on back. Okay. Are you ready? Here we go! Cycle those arms, good! Nice and light on the feet, try not to stomp and just keep it going, keep it going, keep it going, making sure the arms are not going from side to side. Looking good! Looking good! Looking good! That is it, shoulders relaxed, arms relaxed. Great! Keep it going. Now if you will make a mistake, do not worry about it, just keep on moving through. That is it! That is it! Nice and light, nice and light, fast, fast, fast, nice and quick! There you go! Good! Keep it going, keep it going, keep it going! Perfect! Now remember, foot speed. Foot speed, not linear running speed. That is it! Pump those arms, cycled ones! Go! Go! Go!
