Ayesha Lone: If you’re trying to cut calories and fat think about the foods you eat but also think about what you put on those foods. Dressing and gravies can sink your diet. Holidays, salad dressings and gravies are the sauces that sauce up our food. If you’re trying to cut calories and can't seem to figure out why your low calorie foods are not helping you lose weight make sure you factor them into the equation. Many are packed with fat and calories. One smart tip, serve sauces and dressings on the side. Dip your fork into the sauce then dip your fork into the food. You will still have the flavor but with fewer calories. Those calories add up so a little change can make a big difference.
