Maria Monteverde: If you are giving any kind of juice at that time, you would want to stop giving juice and just give --. Host: Well, the American Academy came out and set the limit of the juice to four ounces a day at best essential. Maria Monteverde: At best but I think it's six months, it might still be a little too early. They should still probably be on formula. But even so if you are having an issue where the child might be a little higher on the weight for a height scale, even still, you may want to still cut off that juice because even though the American Academy of Pediatrics set it four to six ounces, the new expert committee actually suggested none.
