Jeana Keough Tries a Laser Treatment for Cellulite Travis Stork: The 90% of women battle cellulite. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from, even the OC. Jeana Keough: I’m one of the original cast members of the Orange County Housewives. People always told me I had great legs. I used to be Playboy Playmate. I was in the Legs video for ZZ Top. I had a fabulous body and used it a lot. I started noticing cellulite three years ago with filming my Orange County Housewives Show. We were in swimming suits a lot. You see yourself on TV and it’s like “Oh my God!” Whose butt is that? I said, “That’s not mine”. “Wow, okay, I need to deal with that.” So, I’ve tried a little bit of everything, about two or three different kinds of creams and potions and it just wasn’t working. I realized you can diet, you can exercise but cellulite is something that you’re born with. You can make it better by losing weight but you have to get other treatments to get rid of it. I held it off as long as I could. I just want to finish the next 50 years of my life looking good. My legs had a lot to live up to. I’m not going down without a fight. Travis Stork: Jeana is with us today. She’s in the procedure room right now with registered nurse and aesthetic specialist Bridget Goddard. Getting a new treatment to rid her legs of cellulite, she’s going to be getting that treatment during the show and then later on in the show, we’re going to show you how it works as well as show you Jeana’s result. Drew Ordon: During the show, Jeana, you may recognize from the TV show, the Real Housewives of Orange County has been having the last in a series of smooth shape cellulite treatments right here back in our procedure room. Before we show her results, let’s see Jeana’s before picture one more time. Let’s see how Jeana looks now. Turn around. You can’t see it but it looks really good. Jeana Keough: Thank you. It felt good. Drew Ordon: So, what do you think? Jeana Keough: You know, cellulites, everybody has it. Drew Ordon: And back in the day, you were known for your legs. Jeana Keough: Yes, I was. Drew Ordon: I mean you’re a leg model and -- Jeana Keough: ZZ Top, Playboy, yes. Drew Ordon: But you know, it brings up such a good point. Cellulite, almost all women get it. It’s such a big problem and although we don’t have a permanent treatment, this new treatment does give hope for a lot of women out there but it doesn’t take just one treatment. Jeana Keough: No, it’s eight treatments and it’s once a year. Drew Ordon: And these were all done by Doctor Kenneth Beer. Jeana Keough: Right. Drew Ordon: From Florida, okay. Let’s show you how Photomology works. Each fat cell membrane is like a fishnet stocking. The light energy increases the permeability of the fat cell membrane and then widens it. Simultaneously, another laser is applied that targets the fat cells and actually liquefies them. With the help of a vacuum and massage, the liquefied fat is transferred to the body’s lymphatic system. Fat cells become smaller, collagen is rejuvenated and circulation in the area improves. The result is smoother and tighter skin and that’s how it works. Thank you very much Jeana. Jeana Keough: Thanks for having me. Drew Ordon: You look great. Jeana Keough: Thank you. Drew Ordon: Look and check out the Real Housewives of Orange County, Thursdays on Bravo.
