Audra: Celebrity fitness trainer Jackie Warner is coming out with her first workout DVD and she’s sharing some of her secrets about her celebrity clients. Better’s fitness expert Andre Metcaf learns three new moves form Jackie and she says her power burn really works. That one today is getting fit. Andrea: You don’t have to be a celebrity to train like one or pay the $400.00 an hour that her clients do. I have Jackie Warner from the workout. I'm so excited to have you. Jackie: Thank you for having me. Andrea: Well, tell us a little bit about this new DVD tat we can have you in our homes. Jackie: Personal training with Jackie is about this. it’s really about going to muscle failure. On each repetition, you need to be feeling that burn. So we do high reps and here is the clench on this. We actually combined three exercises for one muscle group. You're really working that muscle to get tat failure, to get that muscle tones quickly. So we’re going to find out a few moves. GA is going to do them with us. Let’s go Jackie. Jackie: All right, let’s do it. This is called the sissy squat. What you need is a couple of small weights. You simply out your heels on the weights. This is a quad and tinted and go ahead and lower down nice and deep. Just keep lowering. Now I’d like for you guys to do about 30 repetitions just like my DVD but I don’t think we have time for that today. Do we? Andrea: Yeah, today but you can feel your quads working on this and the heel lift is really what makes the difference on this move. All right, next movement Jackie. What do we got? Jackie: All right, you have a seat. You're getting to a squat position. These are little more challenging because you're constantly in a static squat position. You go down, down, up, up. So just keep that movement. It’s very fluid. Andrea: This is kind of like a dance move I use to do. Jackie: In hip hop? Andrea: Yeah that’s right. All right, what’s the last move of this series Jackie Jackie: Last movement again, no rest in between. Just do a simple front lunge. So down, and up. Now, with the lunge you ne dot make sure that you lean back and you keep all the weight. The knee over the heel, not the toes so you see how you're leaning back? Andrea: Good posture I think is the key on this. Jackie: Perfect! Yeah you have to have perfect posture. You're going to blow our knee out. You don’t want that. Andrea: I can really feel my heart rate going up Jackie. Jackie: Absolutely. You should be a little out of breath at this point even with these little repetitions that we’re doing. Andrea: Well I am out of breath so let’s talk a little bit about that DVD. What else is on there? Jackie: Well what’s great about it is that it gives you five options and you really can—it’s a lifestyle thing. You know you got a 15-minute, 30-minute of 45-minute workout and you can break up the muscle groups which is really important. So no matter how much time you have, as long as you go to that intensity you're good to go. Andrea: That’s right. An intensity, fitness magazine named this one of the top 10 DVDs of the year.
