Sarah Dussault: Welcome to the calorie minute. I am Sarah Dussault with Stephen Cabral, body transformation expert and he has been commenting on our videos that you want exercises on how to get thinner thighs. So our exercise today is going to show you how to do just that. So Stephen, tell me a little bit more about this move? Stephen Cabral: Sure, it's called a sumo deadlift or a sumo squat, however you want to refer to this, fine. The main thing is, you want to just take a wider than shoulder-width stance, so that's how we have been stretch opening inner of our thighs. Now what I want to tell you to do is just bend your knees because she is going to see the angle of where her knees are going, because we are not going to try to correct that right now. We want to match the toes here. I just take some torque some off the knees. So if you're like, ah, I can't squat because my knees hurt, it's a good way to take the torque off. Now we want this dumbbell. So we have a 35 pounder here today for Sara. So it might seem heavy but again she is just using her legs to take up the whole thing, so I mean no problem at all. So you can keep the chest up high, and you're going to sit back with the hips, lift right up, good. Sit up back with the hips again. So you see how her upper body is pretty much vertical, that means there is a little bit of tilt forward, which is fine. I then want her sitting back into her hips and then also pushing her knees open. Keep going right back. Nice work. So inner, outer thigh but it also hit the gluteus. So she is working on her top of her gluteus, up lift and up a little bit great exercise for that. Let's do two more. Sit back, push right back up, holding strong. Then when your last rep is really important, really important you put it down the same exact way. Alright, so that way, it keeps your back safe. You don't just run onto your back out, put it down, that's how injuries can happen, you don't want any injuries. So if it ends been that you can lift more and more weight and heavy to hold with like that, you can just take two dumbbells and do it the same exact way with both of them on your back. So a great exercise for inner and outer thighs, also gluteus. Sarah Dussault: That has got my hurray going, so I believe into this video, now you know how to get thinner thighs.
