Indications of an Abnormal Pap Smear You know abnormal pap smears are an indication of anything for almost remote as false positive which are unfortunately that are falsely positive or to an infection of various types or obviously very subject pre cancers or cancers of the cervix pap smears do not pick up uterine cancer or ovary cancers and you look at this is really a screening tool for cervical health or the negative uterus essential. The right has decreased the last couple of years would better pap smears screening technology but you have that one average 20 is going to be falsely positive so every pap smear it comes back abnormal and it’s not necessarily a big deal sometimes you have to look at very closely and what they’ve had in the past and then what kind of follow up evaluation is to be done.
