What’s the one thing that dieters who’ve lost weight and kept it off have in common? They eat breakfast! And it makes sense if you think about it. Missing breakfast can backfire resulting in an increased appetite and overeating later on, usually snacking on foods high in fat and sugar. But not any breakfast will do. Forget bacon and eggs, and instead concentrate on breakfast foods that are high in fiber and low in fat, like oatmeal. An added bonus: people who eat breakfast tend to be more energetic and productive throughout the day.
