Chicken soup isn’t the only food that fights the flu. Mushroom contain more than 300 compounds that rave up your immune system in part by escalating the production of infection fighting white blood cells and making them more aggressive. Shitaki and Mitaki mushroom contain the most immune – chemicals. But plain old button mushroom will also do the job. For to immunity boosting meals, sauté a cap of mushroom with a little olive oil over medium high heat until soft. Then mix them in with your pasta for dinner and add to your eggs in the morning.
