Male: Hi! Cynthia is having a root canal so she’s not here. But I’m going to take over, everything is all set up. It should be easy were cooking. We’re not cooking, we’re making raita. Raita is a yogurt cucumber topping. It’s used in Indian food and it begins very simply with yogurt. This is like a cup of yogurt is in here and you see how jiggly that is. That’s real, real yogurt. That’s the best, a good stuff. If the yogurt you get is like, it doesn’t jiggle like that and it isn’t liquid it’s probably got a bunch of crop added to it. So, then we use straws. This is really good thing about this. If you look at the ingredients, it says pasteurized organic home milk and living yogurt culture. That’s it and it says what the cultures are and I will not read. So, you start with a cup of yogurt and then some cucumbers. These cucumbers were grown in our backyard as it was the mint. So, it’s cucumber mint. You can also use a cilantro if you like that. We’ve got mint and some here, we have some garlic and the two spices we have, the red spice is cayenne and the brown spice is cumin. Okay, so yogurt. Now, look at the cucumber here which I want to do is you can use a potato peeler and do one of this for the cucumber. And then take your spoon and take the seeds out. This has never too many seeds but this is very easy, just scrape it out like that and then dice it. And as you watch me cook and dice, you will say, hey you don’t have to be a great chef to have a cooking show. All you need is the jacket and a recipe. Okay, so here you go. And then this way, I’m going to make sure I don’t cut my finger off or anything like that. And there it is sliced and diced. But wait there’s more. So, you add this, you just add it together. Here is the yogurt. I’m going to add the cucumber to your yogurt right there. And I’m going to add the rest of the cucumber in our backyard very, very nice. I’m also going to add the mint right here and the garlic. I’m just throwing it all together, that’s all there is to it. The cayenne and the cumin, and that’s it! And now, I’m going to stir it and I’m going to try to stir it so it doesn’t look really ugly when I’m done. And this is going to take some gentleness. Female: Daddy! Male: Yes sweetie. Female: Check it out. Check it out. Male: No sweetie. Female: Not rod, you’re freaked out. Don’t worry about this. It’s just a clip on and like it really hurts actually. I’m looking for some— Male: I’m really glad it’s not real, I mean—I guess if you want to it pierced you could, but everybody gets their nose—and that’s not what we’re talking about here. We’re talking about this right and look at this, this is pretty good. Do you want to taste this? Female: Sure! Male: Can I see your nose Mish. Okay there you go. Taste this here, come on. I suppose to put it on food but it’s good this way too. Female: I look fat. I actually had it on my nose. Male: Okay, take this and I put it on. Female: No do it, do it. Male: No, as you look— Female: Oh, it’s not shirt, there. Male: Okay, I’ll stick it—all right. Female: It’s going to be worth it. Male: So, that’s our show today.
