Hi! I’m Patti Moreno, the garden girl and I love using galvanized metal containers for my planters. But they always come without drainage holes on the bottom and you need to put holes in if you’re going to use them as planters so that you can allow for proper drainage. You don’t want your plant to just sit in water so it’s really easy to do it. You just need a hammer and a nail about a quarter of an inch thick and you just take it, you put it on the container at the bottom, and you just hammer it right in and there’s a hole. Now, I am going to put well about 10 holes. Alright, I think that’s enough for my galvanized container. So, if you want to use galvanized metal containers for your plant, here is an easy way to add drainage holes. I’m Patti Moreno, the garden girl. Thanks for watching.
