Eating Low with Amy Your guide to low carb, low cal, low fat cooking! Episode 20: Grocery Shopping with Amy Hi! This is Amy and welcome to Eating Low. Now as you guys probably know I’ve been eating kind of the same thing so I haven’t been making as many recipes because I just keep eating the same food pretty much egg, I’m making the roasted tenders everyday and then I’m then having tilapia, sometimes egg beaters for dinner. So instead of making of recipe I thought I just show what a typical grocery shopping for me. So as you can see I got some real egg. I have egg beaters in the fridge but, I’m going to experiment and maybe throwing a few regular eggs to see it makes the difference. I like variety. So I got some eggs. I have EAS shake. I’m going to try not to drink this but, I keep them on hand kind of if I got hungry or I got trapped in a meeting or have to work late I want to make sure I have one on hand. And I'm going to try not to drink this week because I ‘m really try to lose this last 4.5 pounds that’s all it left I can’t believe it. So, I bought some of this, if I don’t drink them during the week I’m just going to bring them to New York because they're great when on the train. So after my shake I got my Crystal Light. I didn’t have my Sunrise Orange I'm kind of pissed about that but they have this one and this is one, the Berry Pomegranate is what I use in the Sangria recipes that I send out in the newsletter and it’s okay. I actually have this last night microwaved because I needed something warm and it was really cold in my house so I have that and they're okay. I’ll always love that Crystal Light. I’m not a big water drinker. I got some salsa to go with the tilapia, I got more frozen tilapia and living on this stuff I eat them lot. I always make sure I have it on hand. I make this a lot with tomatoes, garlic, and the olives. I got more olives. Olives you know is kind of a toss up because the olives are considered probably like a fat but they're really if you use a couple it’s not that bad. So, I figure also because tilapia is so low fat they balance each other out so those two are for dinners. And I also will probably try tilapia with salt veggies to mix up a little. I’ve done the recipe on that too. I’m very boring. I got my chicken tenders which I will be touching to give a little bit of pat off so I probably make a batch of those today and then I got some lettuce because that is what I am doing and it’s working because I woke up this morning and I was in the 120s.
