How to Cope with Vaginal Odor “Does my vagina smell?” Listen into the women’s concerns-- Female: I have never gotten a complaint like no one ever said, I mean people when I like get self conscious about it, you know like I want to--he is like no it smells fine. It’s great like it doesn’t bother me. Its what you’re supposed to smell. Female: Why worry? Female: I mean it does like, have a like a smell. Its not like there is no smell whatsoever. Everybody I think has their own different smell. I mean I don’t know that’s the thing and you don’t know what smell right and what smell obviously like if something smell really bad, you’re going to know but-- Like right before, like I am going to hook up with a guy or something just to be like extra fresh, like I’ll go in his bathroom or my bathroom and I’ll like the soap dispenser, put some on my hand and like rub it on myself or like on my underwear just to make sure, you know just to like have an extra--It jus t makes me feel better __1:02__ like I’m fresh. Female: I guess I don’t know because I’ve never been with another woman so I don’t know what another vagina is like. Female: There is a random smell. Female: A vagina changes. I mean your own vagina changes throughout the month. Female: And once the fluid starts going—once the motion of the fluid start going, it tastes more like water, it smell more cleaner. Female: Its not like my natural smell that I have a problem with, it’s the odor that is collected from like a day of like peeing all day. Female: And being like squished in like underwear and tight jeans. Female: So I like to go wash before I have sex and then-- Female: Oh yeah. Female: The flip side of it though is like sometime can be a real turn on. Female: For sure. Female: And like, after like, you know, finger in a girl, like if my hand smell like her, I’m like oh my god that is so hot and I definitely had guys say that to me like you know text me like, I still smell you in my hands and its like that’s really hot to me and I think it’s hot to him too. Female: Yeah my partner loves my smell like she’ll just revel and then, later in the day I’ll get a text message that she can still smell it and that’s nice. Female: Because it’s the smell of sex.
