How Much Is too Much Self Pleasuring Amanda: Hi, my name is Amanda. Dr. Lisa: And tell us your question Amanda. Amanda: My question is I'm in a long distance relationship and because of this I rely on a lot of self-pleasure to compensate for my sex life. I'm wondering is self-pleasuring every other day too frequent? Dr. Lisa: Well, let's give it up for Amanda for talking about her secret. All right, and all you women out there, you should have no secrets with your gynecologist because if you have a problem, this is the best way to solve it. Long distance relationships are froth with problems anyway. But it’s absolutely normal. Actually, it’s really, really healthy because a lot of women have problems with orgasm and whether or not what turns them on and doesn’t turn them on. And really, the only way to find that out is by self-pleasuring, to find out what's your buttons are. Everybody is looking for the G spot and the H spot and A spot and all these different spots. And its different for every single woman because actually a lot of women don’t get orgasms from penetrative sex. And so they need to find out what their buttons are. So actually self-pleasuring is very healthy. It’s been taboo to talk about. Guys talk about it all the time. They brag about it. But as women, we don’t have to talk about it as much unless it’s a problem. It’s absolutely normal. It’s actually healthy and as long as its not replacing, as long as you don’t want that more than your partner, he’d be like “What's up with that.” Then it’s okay. Then it’s absolutely normal, healthy, okay and especially in a long distance relationship because that’s just a problem in itself. Okay? Amanda: Okay. Thank you. Dr. Lisa: Excellent.
