Typically, not painful, there’s treatments that are better suited for that type of hemorrhoid, external hemorrhoid would be a hemorrhoid that forms below that line typically they’re more painful especially if they get thrombose meaning that they clotted off and they’ll actually bulge out like that extremely painful.
