On behalf of tvlesson.com, this is Rachel Richardson, a licensed nutritionist with nutrisolution.com. In this clip, I’m going to show you how to make a hormone balancing snack. If you’re a woman and even if you’re not a woman it will be helpful as well for men. So we all have hormones and we all need to make sure that they stay balance. There are a lot of things in our diet that can throw a lot of hormones but there’s a lot of things that we can eat and drink that will put our hormones back into balance. And so we’re going to make a little snack here today just tea and light snack and a little supplement, but let me show you what I brought here today. I’ve got a few things so I’m starting with some different teas and herbs really, both of this is green teas, different version, a hot green tea and a cold green tea. and then I’ve also got an herb called Maca and this one is a really, really nice herb for balancing hormones. I used it personally so it helps me quite a bit. and I’ve got this 2 here poured here, So we’re just pour this directly into our water, the other thing that I have here are snack that’s hormone balancing. The apple here with a fiber will help to take excess hormones out of your system rather than letting them re absorb excess estrogens, bad estrogens. and then in the middle here I’ve got a nut butter and actually a pumpkin seed butter and pumpkin seed butter are also very well known for helping the hormones actually in particular male hormones, but the essential fatty acids from the nuts are also very good for hormone balancing and providing the essential fats needed. The last thing that I have here for part of our snack is a supplement, and this one is called Dim. And basically what this one does is it helps remove excess estrogens as well so that they don’t re-pollute the blood stream. So we’ll take those as well along with our snack, so I’m just going to start by going ahead and pouring our water for our tea and then add our powder, some Maca and some green tea together. Green tea is also very, very helpful for hormones it’s been a lot of different studies, in Japan in particular, showing how green tea can help reduce breast cancer and balance hormones in general women. Mix it up here this make me a little cooling before you drink it, but here you’ve got a delicious tea and your nice fruits and nuts and then your supplement and this things put together, eaten daily will certainly have a positive effect on your hormones.
