Healthy Tuna Salad Recipe [Foreign Language] Hi. It’s Niki from ConikiTV, welcome back. Today, we’re going to make a really nice easy salad that everyone can have for lunch or sometimes I make it when kids take to school. They love it so much. It’s really; really simple, fresh ingredients are the key. If you can get organic, fantastic, if you can't’ just get the freshest that you can. Now, a few simple ingredients, we’ve got some really nice mixed lettuce. I like all the baby lettuce you can buy heads of lettuce if you like. But you know what the mixed lettuce is really nice. You got lots of different varieties there. So I’ve got a bowl of that that’s already been rinsed. I’ve got some vine ripened tomatoes which are absolutely beautiful. They just have a bit more flavor than the normal tomatoes but if you can’t find them just use tomatoes that you can find. Now, I’ve got cucumber here. I’ve got a really nice avocado that’s just a little bit soft to touch. You don’t want mushy avocado, you don’t want raw hard avocado just a bit soft to touch. And I’ve got two tins of tuna because I’m making two servings. I’m making salad for two. So, what we’re going to do is grab the tomatoes. This is the way I like to slice my tomatoes in smaller piece. I like to eat them like that rather than big huge chunks. You can cut them whichever way you like. Make sure you clean up along the way. Now, I’m going to take a bit of my lettuce and put them in the bottom of the bowl. Take some of the tomato. Put it in and a bit more of lettuce and that cucumber will go last. I just want to get rid of the tomato. Now’ let’s do the cucumber. You can peel the cucumber but what for? There are nutrients in the skin, don’t peel it. Just slice it into mouth pieces if you can handle it with the skin on. With these salads, they’re easy to make like how long is this take me, not very long. If you make a big of vegetables and you pop in to the containers the kids will love it and my kids take it to school. It’s really absolutely beautiful. Now this is how we do the avocado, use the knife. Now I use my big spoon just scoop the avocado. So I’m slicing up my avocado and put that in. Now the other thing that I like to tell you is when I open up my cans of tuna, they already have a little bit of oil in them and they have chili in them. Instead of using a dressing, I put avocado in there already. I’m just going to use the liquid that’s in the tuna and that’s going to be my dressing. I just use the liquid that’s inside the tuna and that’s absolutely beautiful. So we open that up, now I might add the rest of my lettuce on top of that now. I’ve got my chili tuna and can you see how delicious that is? If you don’t like chili tuna just use plain tuna or whatever tuna that you like or you might be a salmon person that’s fine. You can use salmon in place of the tune, it’s up to you. But this is nice and quick and easy. You could even prepare the salad and I’d let that set, put in the tuna if you don’t want to mix it up. Get a tong and then we’ll mix that through. Let’s get back into the kitchen, let’s start making beautiful, healthy lunches and dinners and breakfast and get on track. So this is our salad. It took me maybe five, six minutes to prepare. Pop it in containers if you only want one serve now and then you can have another serve tomorrow.
