Gynecomastia Surgery - Part 2 Jerome: I'm going to examine you and take pictures and then I’m going to go over your chest and explain what I see and what you can expect. So, what we’re going to do is get you ready for surgery and kind of go over some details and then we’ll take some pictures and take your blood pressure, okay. Kevin: Great, sounds good. Male: Here, I got my buddy— Jerome: The pastor. Male: Yeah. Jerome: Pretty years huh. Male: Good buddy of mine and were roommate three years ago. Jerome: Yeah. Male: We were on addictions together—yeah we just kind of met back up and he just want to support me. Jerome: That’s great man. Male: And so we’ve been buddies for a long time. And so that’s about my secret world. He’s just starting to get to know the real me, the guy that’s been locked down and a mental prison so to speak. Male: And I’m here just to support him and encourage him and then really just see him grow as he goes through something that he’s been wanting to go through for a long time. Jerome: So, I think you’ve got a good skin which is very important for contraction. Give me a flex of your pack. Okay good. I want you to tell me what you don’t like. Male: Well, I definitely feel that this part—there is kind of a saggy feeling. One time I feel that this such here probably is the pinnacle of it. I just feel that it’s just a fatty look, saggy look. Again, I see them coming in from this angles as well, extra fat there. Jerome: And so basically is this whole area that you don’t like. Male: Yeah. Jerome: Okay. I want you to flex your pack—so, it’s this kind of stuff has kind of there right? Male: Yeah. Jerome: Okay. Male: I can see it right now so I can’t look down on the other side. Now, maybe when I was younger, I could. So, the gravity has definitely set in. And so what I don’t like is the protrusion and I think the sagging. Jerome: In your goals, what would you like to see? Male: I want this to flatten as much as possible. I would like to see this shrink as much as possible and I would like to see the thinning out of this extra fat inside. Jerome: Okay good. Male: It’s just that I don’t know what it feels like to be flat chest and I have no idea what that feels like, you know, overall. First and foremost, that is what I’m looking at and then the definition and me having a defined chest area. Jerome: Now, I think they were on the same page, I think we communicated well, what your expectations are and what are other expectations are that—the issue that mainly want. But other than that I think you’ll do very well.\ Overall, I think he should get a very good outcome. I think we’ll be able to flatten this. I think we’ll be able to reduce this bulge that you have here and I think we’ll be able to take some off here. You want to be careful that you don’t create something but just a little bit of less foam is here. It is going to give us more shape in your chest. Male: I've seen people just come out with amazing results from modern medicine and this procedure so I don’t have a whole lot of question. I'm just glad that the opportunity is presented in such away that, you know, I've looked at it some a bit four and half to give it a shut and so now I've got this sense of, I’m just overwhelmed at this point. Jerome: That’s great man. We’ll take good care of you. Male: I know you will. Jerome: We’ll take good care of you. Alright, let’s go man. Male: Alright. Jerome: Alright. Male: Good. Female: And then put yourself like in a waiting area. Kevin: Okay. Female: And then the doctor will come in and give you martini and I do martini. And then you’ll wobble into the OR. Kevin: Okay. Female: And once you’re in there, just so that you know, the worst part is going to be as I’m going to have to prep you basically from your neck all the way through your feet and so you’re going to be totally naked and you can be standing like this.
