This is the Gut Check. And gut check is just another word basically for the basic crunch. So let's come down to the mat, and always you are thinking about those low abs, pull your belly button to your spine to use this human griddle here and protect your low back. Now you are going to place your hands behind your head, just relax your shoulders away from your ears and just lightly press your fingers here. You are going to come up on two. So one, two, really working those abs. Now you're going to lower for four, very controlled. One, two, three, four, resist the urge to just drop a chunk of your torso, control it, here we go. One, two, hold it for a second if you would like, one, two, three, four, all the way down that's the hardest part. One, two and one, two, three, four, let's do one more here, come up, and all the way down, you might be shaking a little bit those are all those stabilizing muscles working as you lower for four counts. Yes it's a full sit up, but it's a true Gut Check!
