Welcome back to Gear Daddy. I am your host Daddy Troy. We are in the middle of family meals with your DadLabs. It is sponsored by Baby Bjorn, dad friendly European design. Earlier in the week Daddy Brad, Daddy Clay explain to us just how important family meals can be. So, today I thought I would bring in some gear that will help you and your family make a little bit easier and a little more fun. Chow now. One of the best tricks to actually get your kids to the table and eat is to involve them in the preparation process. One of the problems there, is that the corner top maybe too high. What the learning tower helps you solve that. The learning tower is an adjustable step tool that allows your kid to stand up and work with you at the kitchen counter. Height. Now, without the learning tower your kid might have to stand in a chair or in other steps tool and those tend to pinched kid’s hands, they are unstable. But instead the learning tower is a very stable device that allows your kid to actually move around while he or she is helping you. The platform is adjustable and kids get real sense of independence because they can climb in and out this at an early age. Now, on my kids doing a hard wood floors and so I went to a local hardware. I bought some felt pads slack them up underneath the learning tower. My kids actually move it over from the sink, to the counter, and they get real sense of independence then. I love the learning tower, I have been using for two years and I am totally sold. So, once your kids are actually at the table they might need another kind of boost, another kind of step up and that is with the booster seat, that allows them to sit at the table height and actually talk to you in a more humane fashion as supposed to having there in there neck right down at the table level. This is a booster seat by Cushi and we love this because it is missing something. You know, do you see what is missing? It is missing straps. The straps are which usually used to put on a booster seat. They also junk collectors. No matter what food your kids spills to get all over the straps the Cushi Booster has no straps and here is how it works. You do not have to strap at ended, it has this little suction caps on the bottom and this dimples that stick out and check this out, when you actually put on to a surface it does not move back and forth. I am putting the most of my weight into this. I am a full grown man, I am putting most of my weight into this and it is not moving at all. It is one piece, it is easy to wrench, comes in cool colors, kids dig it. We also travel with this. We put on our suitcase, it is not too heavy. It does not causes those over weight feeds at the airport, easy to travel with great vice. And finally, once the kids starts to eat. One of my favorite baby gifts of all time is the bib by BabyBjorn and I went back, I was preparing for today’s episode. I am going to roll some footage here. Can you show those Don. Could you put those pictures in for me. Thanks! Yes. So, I was looking back in my old photos and I saw that from day one before DadLabs was ever even a gleam and the founder’s eyes that we wearing BabyBjorn bibs in our household. In fact, Daddy Clay went into his first gifts to us when we had our first kid was a BabyBjorn bib. These are one piece plastic, they are ergonomically design that go on to a child’s chest and they catch the food inside them. They are flexible plastic, easy to wash, not only they save you a laundry cost they also allow the kid to keep eating the food. Here, she is drop to saving on food costs. And oh, if you already have one this before and you tuned out by now. Wake up! Come back look who is, because BabyBjorn is redesign it and that mechanism now attaches differently really well designed, easy to wash, tons of colors and they make a really great baby shower gift.
