Combine the core strength in boat and the ab workout of bicycles and you get...boatcycling. And Dina tries to give McDucky her surplus.

Hi! I am Dina Prioste and welcome to Get Exercised. I got a view request, asking for an exercise to shift the holiday surplus. So I asked him where his surplus was and where exactly did he want to shift it to. So he said, it was the old valley surplus and he wanted to shift it to the person on the mat next to him. So get ready to shift away. According to a video, I watched on YouTube, the bicycling exercise, this one, because of its very muscle use was rated the best overall abdomen exercise of all time, all time. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Well, I figured out a whole way to add it into the yoga mix by adding it to a boat pose. We are going to call it a boat cycle. This may already be a real exercise, I have no idea, I haven't seen it before. So remember boat pose from episode 27 item here, or here you are really engaging your inner core strength to stay lifted. But when we add at the bicycle, you are going to be engaging also the outer core strength, your outer abdominal muscle. Why didn't I think about before? Why didn't you tell me? Why didn't somebody tell me about that? Start with your knees bent, take the feet up and bring your fingertips behind your head. From here, you are going to inhale center, you exhale, take the right elbow to the left knee, straighten right leg, inhale back to center, exhale, switch, I am already shaking. Inhale here, exhale, switch. Make sure, you take that break in the middle, coming back to center, engaging your lower abdominals straight to stay balanced, you can start with a set of ten. Continue with another set of ten reps, to make it more challenging now, if you want you can widen your boat and see that it's harder to balance and totally shaking here, and just continue, take your time, go slow, and enjoy that hardness. After you are done, sit up tall, bring your heels close to sit bones, wrap your arms around your shin and bring your navel forward here, stretching your back. Maybe shifting the surplus to someone else won't work, but daily boat-cycling will. Next week I am going to show you standing posture that is way, way overdo. I should have showed you this pose like years ago and I am a little bit ashamed, but not that much.
