There is no specific foods that all Crohn’s disease patients should stay away from. Many and most inactive Crohn’s disease patients can eat whatever they want. The one caveat to that is rates of lactose intolerance in the general population are quite high, and Crohn’s patients in particular may find that when they’re having a flare or a symptomatic period in their disease that milk and lactose-based products may be particularly difficult to digest and may give them additional problems.
