A kid had a severe distraction in the nose what ever the cause is there any danger using steroid nasal sprays if they have the flu? Michael Marcus: Well, there is no evidence that steroid nose sprays help decrease secretions or health makes the patient more comfortable in the patient with influenza. Steroid nose sprays specifically are to be used in patience who have allergies are the causes in nasal symptoms that you have seen. Steroid nose spray do have the potential for side effects they can for nose bleeds they can, of course damage to the lining of the nose when use for a long periods of time, so they should never be used with out a doctors supervision and they should all ways be used in patients who have allergies or the diagnosis, and specifically not use it's a virus or bacterial infection is the cause of the symptoms you see.
