I am Carol Olmstead and my company is called Feng Shui For Real Life. Today, I am showing you how to spring clear with Feng Shui. Now we are in the kitchen, a major clutter magnet for most homes. First thing, I want you to do is take a look at those potholders. Have you let them become just a little bit too scuzzy? Time to replace them with something much newer and much fresher for spring. Then there are the other things that we often neglect. Take a look at your spice cabinet or wherever you keep your spices and herbs. Whenever you have something that's half filled or that you don't use, it represents disregard for your health because a kitchen is the focus of health in Feng Shui. Let's get rid of the old ones and put in some brand new ones. Now let's take a look at what's in your refrigerator. Food and health and wealth are all associated in Feng Shui. When you have good healthy food to feed your family and your friends, then you live an abundant life. So let's take a look at what's going on in your refrigerator. Do you have food that's old, half filled and fuzzy? Time to get rid of it. Finally, let's give your kitchen floor a good, clean sweep. To sweep out all that old winter energy, buy yourself a new clean broom and make sure you sweep out of the kitchen, directing your old energy out instead of in. Now that we have finished clearing your kitchen, let's move to your family room. That's another clutter collector in most homes because we spend so much time there.
