I was really scared about the surgery and especially since my experience with surgery had been my results came out well but then my recovery turned out worst. So each surgery I had before finding Dr. Kim, my experience became worst, my scar tissue came back so fiercely that it caused me so many problems. So I was so nervous to enter that situation again and to recover from surgery again. And, I was specifically nervous with this surgery because of the word fusion and people get so nervous about fusion and say, “You’re going to lose all you mobility and can do all these scary things and you’re not going to be able to move well and do X Y Z and it was the opposite for me. My fusion made it so I could move and anyone who has been in the extreme pain that I’ve been in can live with a little bit of that immobility. I can do pretty much everything now. So my recovery actually turned out to be much better that I thought. I recovered really quickly. My surgical pain was really minor and I had my surgery on the December 2 and I was Christmas shopping probably a week later. So my recovery was definitely much better that I could have ever imagined.
