Spinal stenosis as a general term can be fatal depending on the area of the body. In the lower spine, in the lumbar spine at its very worst it can cause paralysis sort of from the waste down. If you develop spinal stenosis from an acute event maybe in accident or a trauma and is located high in the neck it can be fatal but it’s very rare.
