Fat Injections for Plumper Lips Dr. Travis Stork: We have Cory with us today. Just three days after the procedure, I want to remind you all again of Cory’s lips before the procedure. And now, side by side, just three days after the procedure. So, what do you think? Cory: Yeah. I’m happy. Dr. Travis Stork: So, did you get the look that you are hoping for? Cory: Yeah. Definitely! Dr. Drew Ordon: Now, the couple things here and you can still see the little marks where I made those incisions where I put in the fat. Obviously the lips swell. We know that she still healing. She is a little bit of that Donald ducky look that I can see from the side. You always get that with fat transfer. Dr. Travis Stork: But that will go away overtime? Dr. Drew Ordon: Yeah. That will go away just because you have a swelling start to get stuck until things heal up a little bit better. So, you see me do a lot of lips and this is the first time that we’ve done this and we are talking about ‘L’ - liposuction. This was very cool. We went to Cory’s abdomen. We made a tiny little incision in her tummy like so and we actually drew out, you see that nice fat coming out there? We took that fat. We spun it and prepared it. We transferred it to another syringe like so, we did this all under local anesthesia. And then you saw it through those tiny little incisions I made. On the corners, we carefully and the key here is that you weave this in like so. You are weaving in and out really small little droplet. You don’t just squeeze it in there. You are actually weaving it into the muscle, into the vermillion boarder. And what stands out with this procedure is different than other fillers. It’s an all natural filler. It’s using your own tissue. It is permanent. So, her lips will definitely stay bigger and now it’s much easier and her lips will quite thin to begin with. She has a framework that I can work with, with a different type of filler if she wants a little bit of touch up. Dr. Travis Stork: So, this is a unique new option for fillers. Dr. Drew Ordon: I love those fats. Dr. Travis Stork: All natural. Dr. Drew Ordon: Taken from one place and put them in another place. Dr. Travis Stork: Cory, thank you so much. Dr. Ordon, impressive worked my friend.
