Explaining the iGuide System Travis: Joining us today, Stacey and Dr. Greg Miller, the inventor of the iGuide System, welcome to both of you. Andrew: This is very different than what we’ve done in the past. I mean there has been suture suspension techniques, but not the way you do it crisscross. Greg: And we just mark the neck then we inject fluid underneath the neck, do a little liposuction, and then after that, using the fiber optic lighted rod, we actually thread in the whole system. So it’s like a shoe lace that you place underneath the entire area into the jaw line and it’s in the space between the skin and the muscle. And by the time you’re done, you bring out two strings just underneath the chin and literally tying like you would your shoe laces. We did these all with her awake. She was awake during the entire procedure. So we can see here is you tie it up, it just lifts everything as a composite. Andrew: Let’s take a look at the way Stacey looked before. There she is. So she had that little extra fat in her neck and a little bit at the jowling. And now let’s take a look at Stacey before and after together. Travis: Very impressive. Andrew: And this is all done through minimal— Greg: Series of small punctures just right along your jaw line, and these scars will go away within a few days. Andrew But Greg, not for everybody, correct? Greg: Yeah, the ideal candidate is someone like Stacey, a younger person who genetically just has fullness in the neck that they can’t get rid of by exercising, and then also when a patient has a facelift, it works really well. Andrew: You could do a short scar facelift and then for the neck component, do your— Greg: The lacing. Andrew: The lacing minimizing the scars. Greg: Yes, great. Andrew: Good stuff and a nice result. Travis: And you’re excited? Stacey: I’m very happy. I feel great. I was awake throughout the procedure and three days later, I just went back to work and feel great. Andrew: Well I’m impressed; you didn’t mind seeing yourself being out on there. Stacey: It was painless and I feel great. I’m excited because I’m getting married so I can't wait to take my pictures. Travis: Congratulations. Thank you so much. Thank you.
