Exercise for the Spine in Yoga for Dancers On behalf of TVlesson.com this is Nene Ortega with NeneOrtegaBaila.com. In this clip I'm going to show you another pose that’s very useful for Yoga for tangeros. Tangeros, we need our spine to be straight, to be strong. We need our hamstrings to be stretched, so this wonderful movement this yoga pose is going to let you flow easier into your muscles so your dancing becomes a wonderful expression of the divine through you. So we’re going to start your knees. This is a cat position so we’re going to inhale, now we’re going to exhale and contract as I've said before and we’re going to inhale again. Now we’re going to place our toes and go up in the phase down. This as you can see my legs, so I go and stretch my legs and my arms so I create space in the vertebrates and then also this allows me to stretch my hamstrings for the beautiful movements of tango and dancing. So we come back again and we inhale. We lift up our tailbone and we exhale so we contract and again we inhale. So we want to work on our balance. We bring out right knee to our chest and we put it back. Now we change our knee. We bring the left knee to our chest and we stay there stretching and working in the balance for the yoga balance that we need to be aware of our own balance before we dance with our partner. On behalf of TVlesson.com this has been Nene Ortega, thank you for watching.
