Estrogen Dominance Symptoms - A Doctor's Reaction They immediately acted as though it was normal. Forty-five days bleeding, I did not think was normal, but they wanted to do an invasive procedure. They just schedule you for a D&C, and let’s do an ablation, which is, I think, a very invasive procedure. But there was never any discussion as to what was causing it and maybe we should attack that first, and I am not very good at asking questions. I get intimidated in the doctor’s office in my three minutes I am allowed, and it just, I’d walk out, and that’s not what I wanted to say, and it’s not what I wanted to hear, but I needed a quick fix too. So I did over the course of one year have two D&Cs, and it still wasn’t getting any better.
