Eating Low with Amy Your guide to low carb, low cal, low fat cooking! Hi! This is Amy and welcome to Eating Low. Today we’ll be going to be making two recipes for two different kinds of dessert that you can have and I won’t say they're total desserts vanilla, chocolate cake and apple pie but they will kind you get you over if you got a little bit of that sweet tooth. So, first one we’re going to make is a rootbeer float. Now if you have a rootbeer float, you know ice cream and it’s rootbeer in a glass so you use diet rootbeer, if you can find this and then we’re going to use something else instead of the rootbeer. We’re going to use which I can’t find right now, my French vanilla coffeemate, sugar-free creamer that I put on my coffee. It’s 15 calories and it’s one carb for one tablespoon. So go easy on it but, I use at my coffee if you watch my coffee sure you’ll remember. But I’m just going to put in a little bit. You can probably put in the full tablespoon or close to it depending on how big you’re going to make. Now I can't find my diet rootbeer at my grocery store unless I bought like a whole bunch of it and rootbeer just makes me hiccups a lot so I don’t like to have it around the house that much, but I got diet cream soda. So, this is another option. It would kind of tastier with the Rootbeer, it will taste more like a rootbeer float but you could try it with the cream soda too. So I’m putting it in, it’s just kind of pooping up. If you wanted you could blend your ice and make it a little chunky before you put the stuff in but for me this is fine. It’s really up to you and whether you like your shakes and things like that really thick. So I’m going to stir and I've never made this work so let’s see what it taste like. Wow! That tastes like simply good like it makes me like it doesn’t go. Are you sure this is diet? Wow! Cream soda and the French vanilla. Oh my God! Wow! You know I wasn’t going to drink this like I was just going to make them and dump them into our refrigerator or into that thing but they're really tasty. All right so let’s put this over to the side which we’ll drink that one later. Please let me not like this one because that we are in trouble. So I’m going to add some ice to the glass and the next one we’re going to make is a cream sickle version of the same thing that we just made. So we’re going to do a cream sickle. Right about now I wish I had an ice maker in my fridge so you got your ice in your glass. Then I got my diet orange soda which I love, I'm kind of addicted to it when I was making the diet orange soda chicken and mine is made with Splenda. So I like drinking it, I put a little bit or should I put this right there. We’re going to add the French vanilla creamer to it and I will add a couple more splashes and we will add more of the diet orange and supposedly this is going to taste like a cream sickle. Again we’ll stir, this one is kind of popping up a little more than the cream soda. You k now this reminds of a push ups somebody’s car alarm was going off, I hope it’s not mine. This reminds me of those push up pops that I got when I was a kid. I don’t like this one as much as that one. This one is really tasty but I was going to – I kind like rootbeer floats even if bring up the hiccups. This one is alright. So thanks for eating low.
