Dr. Sears' Back-to-School Health Tips If your child wears a house gear around his neck, make sure he puts it inside his shirt. Keys are a sure fire sign of predators that your child is going home alone. At about age 10, kids are developing already and body odor can be a real problem in the classrooms. Give your child some deodorant. His teachers and classmates will thank you. Stop, drop, and wash. If your kids get home from school, have them stop what they’re doing, drop their backpacks wherever they belong, and have them wash their hands. This will help stop the spread of germs to the whole family.
