Dr. Lisa Performs a 3D Sonogram Lisa Masterson: We’re back with our motherhood survival club with recording artist and reality star, Mel B., pediatrician Dr. Cara Natterson and Samantha Harris from Entertainment Tonight. And before the break Katie told us she wanted to find out the sex of her baby so I asked her if she wanted to do it right here and she said “yes”. SO, we’re prepping her right now in the ultrasound, I can’t wait, I’m dying – I’m dying. But while she finishes getting ready, we have these lovely cakes here because women are coming up with the neatest ideas for how to share with the sex of their babies with their friends and families and things like that and so if you go ahead and cut it into this, so now they have these beautiful cakes, you could serve it up. You don’t know what the sex is between them. But synchronize your knives -- Mel B.: So what am I having? I’m having -- . Lisa Masterson: Let’s see what you’ve got? Oh I think – (Voice Overlap) Mel B.: I’m having a girl. Dr. Cara Natterson: I’m having a boy. Lisa Masterson: So they have pink inside for a girl, blue inside for a boy – Samantha Harris: Now it’s good, we’ll be passing these around after. Mel B.: Oh that’s good – Samantha Harris: If I don’t finish it up. Mel B.: That is really good – Lisa Masterson: Alright, but before we eat the cake when we celebrate, we need to go over there and do an ultrasound and Samantha you want to join me? Samantha Harris: I would love to. Lisa Masterson: Alright let’s find out. Hello. Katie: Hi. Lisa Masterson: How are you doing? Samantha Harris: Are you excited? Katie: Good, I’m so excited. Samantha Harris: I’d love this part. Lisa Masterson: Well Greg is here to help us out which is fantastic so he’s going to start doing the ultrasound. Are you –? Samantha Harris: Are you sure you’re 17 weeks? You’re so tiny. Katie: Yeah. Samantha Harris: This looks so exciting; I may have to find out before I leave. Lisa Masterson: Yeah okay we’re going to that. Do you want to get your husband on the phone? Katie: Sure, yeah. Lisa Masterson: So he can be a part of this? Katie: Yeah. Lisa Masterson: Okay can we get her husband on the phone? John: Hi honey. Katie: Hi. John: How are you doing? Katie: Good. Lisa Masterson: Hello John – John: Are you nervous? Katie: No, I’m excited. Lisa Masterson: Well, we wanted you at least to be here by phone. Can you hear us really well? John: Yeah I can hear you, its fine. Lisa Masterson: Oh great, so you should be part of this celebration so we’ve at least got you here by phone. I think she’s really excited you should see her face. Samantha Harris: Do you want me to hold your hand? (Voice Overlap) John: I would never been – like this. Lisa Masterson: Do you want to ask her what it is when we finally see it? John: I want to know right now. Lisa Masterson: Right now? (Voice Overlap) Samantha Harris: Your body is not missing it. I ‘m so glad you’re here. I wouldn’t want my husband to miss this. John: I would never miss this. (Voice Overlap) Lisa Masterson: It’s very special, so now we’re looking at the baby, so what we’re doing is we’re looking for the goodies, the down there region which we hope isn’t sparkling. Katie: Yeah, right – Lisa Masterson: And she didn’t be jazzled yet – Katie: No – Lisa Masterson: But it’s a she – Samantha Harris: It’s a girl. Katie: It’s a girl? (Voice Overlap) Lisa Masterson: Congratulations. Samantha Harris: Congratulations, little girls are so much fun, they’re so much fun to dress up – you just wait. Lisa Masterson: So you saw how much fun that was? Samantha Harris: That looks like a lot of fun. Lisa Masterson: Could you – Samantha Harris: I will say I did, I got tears in my eyes because I saw you – okay – I kind of want to know. Katie: We can switch places. (Voice Overlap) Samantha Harris: My, if you have my husband in the back, maybe, no, no, no, no, I’ve – this is such an exciting thing though I’m so excited for you that little girls are s
