I’m inspired by the fact that I think we have so many good treatments these days. Since I have come into this field 15 years ago, the number of treatments that actually help arthritis has exploded and I can do so much more good on now than we could just a few years back. And so I’m inspired by the fact that if I were a woman with rheumatoid arthritis who presents to me early on hasn’t yet been treated, I can look at her and tell her that I think within the next year there’s a 40 or 50% chance that I can put her disease completely into her mission with no symptoms whatsoever. And even on those cases when I can’t, I can really control the disease so that the impact on their life and on the rest of their health is a minimal and so I’m inspired by the fact that as we learn more, we can increased those numbers and really decreased the impact that arthritis has to have on people’s lives.
