Kimberly: Welcome to the Pilates on fifth video Podcast, I am Kimberly. She is Katherine who has cold. So I am talking for her. So today’s exercise is double leg stretch with obliques. So we’ll start lying supine on the mat, with our knees bend and from a nice neutral position, we use our abdominals to roll and to the supported position with the hip bones come up to meet the ribs, bring one leg up in to the table top on the inhale and the exhale bring the other leg up in to table top and both hands will come to the sides of the knees. Now what we add here, is a reach of the arms and legs away from each other every time and that’s how we add the obliques and so to get started we are going to inhale link to the back of the neck exhale girdle the head and shoulders off the mat take a quick inhale to stay on the exhale legs go right arms girdle of the other way, and inhale back in. And exhale other way it doesn’t really matter which way you go first and inhale and you’ll see exhale you are making in this line and inhale back in, and exhale reaching away good and inhale in now keep going Katherine this ups side head can come of a tad, but you are not going for lots just a little bit and in this 2 more exhale reach and inhale bend in, and exhale reach and inhale in and now go ahead and set the head down. Legs come down one at a time and the pelvic comes back to neutral, you’ll Notice that the arms don’t circle around with this; so we just come linearly back in to center, for cleanliness and movements.
