EmpowerHer asks: How Does Exercise Contribute In Making You Feel Great about Yourself? Annie: Exercise makes me feel strong. Not only it doesn’t increase the endorphin releasing in my brain, but it makes me feel strong that I can handle not only my circumstances, but I can also wrestle with my son on the ground. Exercise has a huge benefit for me and it also motivates me to eat correctly, because I don’t want to go and lift weights, do plan metrics, run six miles, and then go home eat donuts and Captain Crunch Cereal. It motivates me to eat right which in turn helps my brain maintain it's balance. Otherwise, with my blood sugar fluctuations, if I do go eat sugar then that affects my brain, so there's a lot of factors that play into exercise and then the aftermath of it.
