Kelly McBride: Welcome to Baby Belly Fitness. My name is Kelly McBride with Babyssentials.com. Today, we’re here to discuss whether or not exercising has an impact on your breast milk. So, I walked into my mommy in my class the other day and in front of me were two mommies and our senior babies. Way before class, they were discussing whether or not exercising did impact the quantity or the quality of their breast milk. So the answer is simply no. mile do moderate exercise has no effect on the quantity or the quality of breast milk and even high intensity, high frequency exercise can only slightly alter the taste of breast milk or at after about an hour too, it does dissipate. However, if your baby does not want to know if you’re actually done exercising, it might be the salt on the mom’s skin to the sweating so, jut simply rinse it off your breast so even just taking the shower can take off the taste of salt and your baby will be just as happy.
