The presentation for heart pain, chest pain for men has always most likely been chest pain is middle of the chest, it is more achy pressure, it can radiate to the arms, it can cause them to have dizziness, shortness of breath with it. But it is not always been like this for women. A lot of women do not have chest pain as their primary presentation and symptom of heart disease. The problem that comes up is that how do we know this chest pain is heart disease or not. It is sometimes very difficult, but a constant pain is less likely that it goes on days and days on, is less likely to be a from the heart because of the fact that the usual pain from the heart comes and goes, it may get worse with exertion and when it gets really bad it can come on at rest. But if someone has constant pain he may think about other etiologies and causes such as muscle pain and joint pain that can be causing the pain.
