Does owning a pet lower stress? Anyone that has a pet knows that when you have a hard day at work or just have a lot of stress in your life you come home—because animals are nonjudgmental, they don’t talk back they’re just excellent companions. And you can sit there and play with your cat, pet your dog, take them on walk and that’s one great way to distress.
