That’s often a question that people ask but they are much better because they are portable and easy to carry around, but as far as delivering effective medication a nebulizer or the metered-dose inhaler are on a par. They are similar in their ability to deliver effective medication to the respiratory tract into the epithelium and the lining of the lungs. Not addicting, in the sense that you are physically dependent but it’s, the inhalers are part of your medication and its perfectly safe and desirable medication to continue.
