Dr. Karin McCarthy: The Asian consumer is looking for the larger iris, the larger eye. Karren Koo: What Asian women really want is how to making their eyes beautiful and beautiful eyes means the bigger eyes. Dr. Karin McCarthy: It's a very subtle enhancement of their natural iris features. Karren Koo: To make the eyes bigger and more impressive. Dr. Karin McCarthy: Consumers say I want, people to wonder. Wow! You know she looks really good today what's different. Karren Koo: Today they want to keep that beauty secret by themselves. Dr. Karin McCarthy: The Acuvue define line of products were developed based on consumer input that was collected in Asia. Karren Koo: And then we developed a product concept, which is natural beauty plus one day disposable contact lens then it fit. Dr. Karin McCarthy: They are defined to make the iris which is the colored of the eye appear larger and also to provide a bigger contrast between the iris and sclera which is the white part of the eye to make the eye look more refreshed. The clinical trials in Japan early on taught us that we could efficiently add the added benefit of the beauty enhancement feature without compromising excellent vision comfort. Karren Koo: Plus convenience and health which is the core equity of daily disposable contact lens. Dr. Karin McCarthy: It's been a great satisfaction for Vistacon and for the whole team to deliver on that.
