Different Types of Home Delivery Services You’re watching Parents TV, our families, our lives. Marni Renison: Hey IT Moms! As Mommies ourselves, Holly and I know that time is of the essence. But errands? Totally unavoidable. Holly Resnick: So, we decided to test out three different delivery services to see if they’d make our lives easier. Marni Renison: First step, grocery delivery. So, let’s go inside and let them do the work. Holly Resnick: Oh no, we’d like you to bring it all the way in. Marni Renison: Could you move, he’s trying to work. Holly Resnick: You didn’t have to go to the store. Marni Renison: I didn’t have to go to the store and I even got my pullets. I mean not for me. Yesterday, when I ordered this online, I intentionally ordered things I would be afraid of having delivered to my house like poultry, ground beef and produce, and expiration dates. So, let’s check it out. Holly Resnick: Right. Let’s check it out. Marni Renison: Avocado, these two are firm. We have to firms and squishy. And you can do organic milk, yogurt but I didn’t say organic beef. Holly Resnick: The beef looks good. Marni Renison: Not bad. Holly Resnick: Is that a guess? Lovely. Marni Renison: It’s pretty good. I hate this asparagus. I think it’s really mushy on top Holly Resnick: That’s it. Marni Renison: That just means as well. Holly Resnick: Okay. Marni Renison: Every mom is familiar with. Holly Resnick: Princess, did you have to say, “I want princess?” Marni Renison: It gives you an option. Holly Resnick: You have the option of buying Princess pullets. Marni Renison: Yes. There you go. Holly Resnick: One of my lists of favorite things to do I have to say is grocery shopping. I have four kids. Marni Renison: Four kids. Holly Resnick: Which seems like 41 when you get there. With all the tasks we have to do in errands we have to run, it’s really hard to find the time to just sit and play with your kids. So, maybe delivery services are good because they buy you a little extra time. Marni Renison: The dog needs a bath, so I already billed it all, mobile bath for it. Holly Resnick: Wash ‘n Roll, bring it on! Marni Renison: Okay, come here. Oh, Barley is so excited. Yes, no idea. You know IT Moms, as school is coming out; we’re running around like crazy right now. Sometimes you just want to stay home. Holly Resnick: Yeah. Delivery services can alleviate the chaos of always having to leave the house. I never get a chance to read. Marni Renison: I don’t either. I started this book like three times. Holly Resnick: I’m on Chapter 8 for like two years. Marni Renison: I’m really only at Chapter 2. Holly Resnick: Yeah. Marni Renison: He does my ironing for me. Oh, I love you! Holly Resnick: That’s awesome. That is so cool. Marni Renison: Thank you so much. They deliver a bucket shirt. I think that’s worth it. Holly Resnick: That is worth it. Marni Renison: Totally worth it. All right, the unveiling. Holly Resnick: The big reveal, the dog. Marni Renison: It felt like magic, thank you. Holly Resnick: Okay IT Moms, sometimes new things like delivery services can be a little intimidating and you need a friend to help give you that encouragement to try something new. Marni Renison: So today, we had groceries delivered. We had the dog washed and we even had our shirts pressed saving us an entire afternoon to do the more important things like nothing. Give it a try. Holly Resnick: Try it out. You’ll probably like it. Thanks for watching Parents TV, our families, our lives, your new video resource for parenting.
