Arthur Agatston: I’m doctor Agatson, Prevention from the heart doctor. We are going to talk bout some do’s and don’ts of heart health but really of general health as well. First let’s talk about diet, you want to choose a variety of good foods, we mean the good fats like the Omega-3 fish oils, the good carbs like whole grains, whole fruits and vegetables with plenty of fiber and nutrients. It’s important to exercise but don’t do a high intensity exercise that you haven’t train for. If you haven’t train for and you do it you are going to get a big pulse of adrenalin that can be dangerous for your heart and can even kill you. So, if you are going to do high intensity exercise train first, don’t make a big jump. Don’t do the same exercise everyday, your body get use to it, your mind gets to use to it to get urge. You want to exercise many muscles and the different intensities. So it’s good to walk one day, bike one day, swim. I’m Dr. Agatston and I want you to take good care of your heart.
