So, mushrooms I don’t think should not replace chemotherapy. I think the evidence that mushrooms have a direct anti-cancer effect is weak. I think the evidence that mushrooms are beneficial in conjunction with chemotherapy is stronger. I think mushrooms probably work by enhancing the immune system in the fight against cancer and are probably best given in association with conventional cancer therapy.
