It really depends what exercise as we’re talking about. So there are certain kinds of arthritis that are extremely common in women basal joint arthritis. So an arthritis at the base of the thumb, metacarpal and the hand is probably the most common type of arthritis that we’ve seen women in their hands. And there are some exercises that are generally taught by hand therapist that are called joint protection exercises that can really help decrease the symptoms and prevent failure of that joint.
