I would encourage anyone who is still in hiding about hair pulling to pick one person that they feel they could talk about it with and just take it day-by-day. I mean, you don’t want, I still don’t have, nobody knows, really. I still don’t tell everybody, but I did, I started with my mom, and she was very supportive and wanted to know more information about it. The first thing she said was, “Oh well, I want to know about this. I want to know why you do this and what makes you feel like you need to do this," and it was very helpful, just to pick one person and go from there and take it day-by-day, and you don’t have to tell everybody, just one person.
