How to Cope with Morning Sickness In the general public, morning sickness has always been defined that when a woman is pregnant that she is sick in the morning. She raises out of bed and she just has to throw up, or such as when she goes to brush her teeth she has to also throw up. Usually that will pass after about 12 or 13 weeks, and certain things that can help with that though are, as long as you can keep liquids down or doing really well such as popsicles, Jell-O, chicken broth. Also, later in the day woman start feeling better then that’s when that she need a little bit more concentrating, getting a little bit more of their calorie intake. Medications that can sometimes help, and these are not, these are kind of our last resort, there is medication such as Unisom, over-the-counter. There is vitamin B6. There is also prescription medication such as Phenergan, Zofran, things like that that help with that also.
