Henry Do, MD Hospitalist/Regional Medical Officer There is a broad range of treatments and generally you can classify into your oral treatments in getting pills that you can take by mouth. And then there is insulin and there is different ways you can take insulin, different types of insulin, there is a short acting insulin and long acting insulin. There is mixed insulin, there is an insulin pump. But in general its oral medications with and even with an oral medications there is different classes of oral medication they worked differently. And often times they work with combination with each other so in general there is oral medication and there is insulin in terms of medicines.
