You are watching What Should You Know because let us be honest What Should You Know. So when someone comes up to you and asked if you know Cloned Animals? This is what you should say. Of course I know about Cloned Animals, are you serious? And I am not talking about the cloned sheep named “Dolly”. I am talking about cloned beef baby. That is right! in January, The food and Drug Administration said it was totally safe to eat products derived from cloned cows, pigs, and goats, and since then a small truckle of meat and dairy from cloned animals and their offspring has started showing up at your local food market, and guess what it is not labeled! That is right! The packaging does not have to tell you whether it came from cloned animals. Starting to feel not so good about that juicy cheeseburger that you have for lunch? Well, you need to learn, as poll shows most consumers are not comfortable with eating food derived from cloned animals, but hey! The Federal Government and their Food and Drug Scientist say it is totally safe and okay. Still not convinced? Well, do not worry about it too much, as cloned meat and dairy is still very small percentage of the food supply, mainly because cloned animals are so damn expensive. To come back the fears of consumers nationwide, 20 meter food companies and retailers including Kraft, Ben and Jerry in Walmart have all declared, they want to make or sell any food derived from cloned animals, and hey! When all else fails, any food labeled organic is guaranteed none cloned. That is what I know about cloned animals! This has been another episode of WSYK or What Should You Know. I am Ethan Bloch and What Should You Know. Rapping Voice: What Should You Know? You area watching What Should You Know because let us be honest What Should You Know!
